Curriculum

Curriculum Paolo Gherardi was born on August 12, 1970, in Ferrara, Italy. Since July 2015, he has been the coordinator of the AsiKickboxing sector. He is known for his extensive competitive experience, his physical preparation, and his organizational talent, having built a solid career in both sports and public administration. He holds a specialization in Information Systems with a focus on Management and Administration. He is also certified in first aid (BLS-D), workplace safety, and fire prevention. He works as a public employee in the healthcare sector. In sports, he is a multiple Italian champion in Light Contact and Full Contact, a two-time bronze medalist at the Full Contact World Championships, and a silver medalist at the Light Contact World Championships. He received the title of 10th Dan Master in Kickboxing from Grand Master Antonio Dias of Brazil during the World Cup in San Marino, Italy. He is a Krav Maga instructor, a self-defense specialist, and has 15 years of boxing experience, having studied with Massimiliano Duran. With experience in various martial arts, he has been teaching kickboxing classes since 1995. He is recognized as a Master and Instructor by major sports organizations such as WAKO, IAKSA, WTKA, and ASI. He is also the regional Kobudo manager and coordinates the Fighters Team group, with over 30 courses spread across the provinces of Ferrara, Bologna, Ravenna, and Rovigo. For 29 years, he has organized national sporting events for various federations and, since 2019, has been the president of IAKSA Italy.
